Hook-Up Wire

Cole Wire’s hook-up wire and cable products are manufactured in a variety of materials, sizes and designs to meet rigid industry and government specifications. We offer both the electrical and the electronic industry products that meet virtually all hook-up wire applications. 

Hook-up wire is typically used for internal wiring of electrical and electronic equipment as well as internal wiring of panels and meters.

Thermoplastic or PVC insulated UL style hook-up wire like UL1015 (also MTW), UL1061, UL1007, UL1569 as well as MIL-W-76B are used for internal wiring in equipment, panels and meters. Cole Wire can custom color and/or custom stripe these wires. Cole can also twist 2, 3 or 4 wires together for ease of installation.

Cross-linked polyethylene or XLP (XLPE) insulated hook-up wire like UL3173, SIS and/or VW-1 rated is typically used as switchboard wiring and for industrial control panels. Cole Wire can custom stripe these wires. Cole can also twist 2, 3 or 4 wires together for ease of installation.

Thermoplastic insulated with nylon sheath hook-up wire like TFN and TFFN (MTW) is used in machine tool wire (MTW) application and as fixture wire and appliance wiring material. Cole Wire can custom stripe these wires. Cole can also twist 2, 3 or 4 wires together for ease of installation.
