Communication and control cable designs are available in a wide variety of insulation and jacketing compounds as well as different methods of shielding for the purpose of alleviating unwanted circuit noise.
- PVC/PVC:Polyvinyl chloride insulations and jackets capable of meetin everyday general purpose applications.
- PE or PP/PVC: Polyethylene or Polypropylene insulations assures clean, accurate reproduction of transmitted signals across circuits.
- Rubber/Rubber: is typically used in installations characterized by the need for abrasion resistance and severely hostile environments.
- Rubber/Neoprene:Offers the ultimate performance for application that require cables to withstand the greatest environmental, chemical, and/or mechanical abuses. Neoprene consists of high-proprietary chemicals that enable this material to be both very durable and chemical resistant.
Communication and control cables come both as multiple conductor cables or as paired cables. Paired design is frequently used in applications requiring isolation from noise, minimization of capacitance unbalances, and a reduction of various interfering currents. Circuit separation is further enhanced by individual shielded pairs.
Computer and data cable are primarily for the internal or external interconnection of electronic equipment. These applications include: calculators, intercoms, alarm and signaling systems, data transmission, printers and similar systems. Coaxial cables are application engineered in a wide variety of materials, sizes, and shield configurations, each with specific advantages relative to physical and electrical application requirements. This selection of cables meet the needs of today’s sophisticated and high speed electronic applications with minimal loss over long distances. Cole Wire offers a full range of CATV/MATV cables like RG59/U and RG6/U cables. Bare copper, tinned copper and copper covered steel conductors; aluminum mylar, high coverage braids, and combinations of these shields are available offering a choice of products that also reflects the most recent changes in the standards set by UL/CSA and the FCC.
